A 27-year-old Lady Lake man was arrested after an altercation at the Oakwood Motel.
Justin Lee Freeman who lives at 201 Ann St. reportedly went to a man’s room at the motel on the night of July and asked for a light for a marijuana cigarette, according to an arrest report from the Lake County Sheriff’s Office. When the man refused, Freeman struck the man in the face with his fist. He also struck the man in the back of the head as he turned away, the report indicated.
He then went to the Wal-Mart parking lot and called out, “Come over here, I’ll hit you again.”
He was arrested on a charge of battery and booked at the Lake County Jail on $10,000 bond.
In 2015, Freeman was arrested after an altercation with a woman over air conditioning.
