Celebrations for Cornerstone Hospice Center will take place this week in honor of its expansion.
This upcoming Halloween night on Tuesday will be a golf cart drive-in movie that will take place at the Villages Polo Field. Gates open at 5:30 p.m.
The Halloween night event will feature an ice cream truck and a popcorn stand. Admission for this event is free and costumes are optional. The event is sponsored by SECO Energy.
On Wednesday, a “Bail or Jail” event will take place at Red Sauce in Lake Sumter Landing from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. At this event, attendees can root for their favorite “prisoner” or community leader as they try to buy their way out of jail. The event is sponsored by Pete & Nany Wahl.
The final event will take place on Thursday at the Sharon Performing Arts Center, where Las Vegas entertainer SINBAD will perform. Shows are at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. Tickets are on sale online and at all box office locations. Tickets will cost from $25 to $65. The event is sponsored by Fross and Fross Wealth Management.
The originally planned banquet, featuring a salute to the Veterans, event for Cornerstone Hospice Center’s expansion had been postponed to the first quarter of next year, according to event coordinator Bob Ziarko.
