Villagers for Hospice will be holding their annual Casino Night in a new location this year. For the first time, this event will be held at the Wildwood Community Center on Thursday, Nov. 16.
Tickets are $25 and include dinner, music, beer and wine, gaming tables, slot machines, door prizes and 50/50.
Villagers for Hospice, a non-profit fundraising group started in 2011 raised $8,000 at last year’s event. All donations through the organization benefit the local hospices that service The Villages.
“It is always a fun night,” said event chairperson Barbara Williams, “people have a wonderful time raising money for a good cause.”
Tickets are sold only in advance. Contact Barbara Williams, 352-753-5475, for more information and to buy tickets. Wildwood Community Center is located at 6500 CR139 (Powell Road). Casino Night starts at 5 p.m.
