A father and son were arrested after an alleged attack on a man who they reportedly ditched at a local bar.
Lady Lake police were called at about 10 p.m. Friday to a home at 1206 Crabapple Lane at Spring Arbor Village.
The victim told police he had been at a local bar with 47-year-old Todd S. Rose of Spring Arbor Village and his 16-year-old son Zachary S. Rose of Paisley.
The man said that after they left him at the bar, he walked to the home on Crabapple Lane and fell asleep on the couch.
Zachary Rose then reportedly threw a phone at the man’s chest and an altercation broke out.
Todd Rose entered the room and tried to break up the fight, according to the arrest report. However, the altercation continued and the father and son wound up on top of the victim. A witness verified the victim’s account, the report indicated.
Both men were arrested on charges of battery and booked at the Lake County Jail.
