62-year-old woman jailed on $21,000 bond after caught with narcotics near Wildwood school

A 62-year-old woman was jailed on $21,000 bond after she was caught with narcotics near Wildwood Middle High School.

Nancy Wing Bexley of Wildwood was arrested Wednesday at her home at 509 Wolfe St. on felony charges of possessing and selling synthetic narcotic drugs.

The Sumter County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Squad on Dec. 7 used a confidential informant to purchase a glass vial of THC oil at Bexley’s home which is 838 feet from the school. School was in session at the time.

She was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center and released after posting bond.
