Melvadine Lily Jansen, 92, of The Villages, FL, passed away peacefully at home on January 14, 2018.
Mrs. Jansen was born Dec 11, 1925 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota but grew up in Mason City, Iowa. Her parents were Melvin and Ann Berg. She was married to Lieutenant Colonel Kenneth Jansen for over 60 years and traveled around the world. Besides being an incredible military wife, she was loved by all of her grandchildren along with having a passion for healthy living and “playing” the stock market.
Survivors include her children Linda (Pete) Souza of Leesburg, FL, John (Margaret) Jansen of Knoxville, TN, Mark (Missy) Jansen of Bell, FL and Kirk (Timmy) Jansen of American Canyon, CA and by her grandchildren Nathan, Jessica, Joseph, Tori, John and Sarah.
