At a recent meeting of the John Bartram Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution at the Eisenhower Recreation Center, 10 new members joined the ranks of one of the oldest lineage based service organization.

They were sworn into membership by Diane Clemmons, Registrar and Mabe Fink, Chaplain. 

Each of the ladies gave a brief history of their patriot ancestors, including one who had donated three cows to feed the revolutionary soldiers, who were fighting for independence from Great Britain and King George III.
