Lee E. Horner

Lee E. Horner, 75 of The Villages, FL, went home to be with his Lord on January 15, 2018. Lee was born in Mount Holly, NJ to Alice and Earl Horner on September 6, 1942.

Upon high school graduation, Lee joined the USAF and served in Vietnam. He then pursued a lifelong career of real estate/mortgage and acquired his ministerial license, guiding many as “Pastor Lee”.

He retired to The Villages in 2010 to spend his senior years enjoying ‘the greens’ with his wife and best friend Jean. He was a member of the local American Legion, DAV and lifelong member of the VFW.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years Jean (nee Zellman); children Michael, Bonnie Lee, Stephen (Jeni) and Joe; grandchildren Sherri, Andrew and Amanda all residing in FL; step-children Debra, Mike, Terri (Robert), Lori (Stace) and Tracey (Lou); nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Graveside service will be held on Monday, February 5, 2018 11 a.m. at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL, followed by the memorial service at 1 p.m. at HIERS-BAXLEY Funeral & Cremation Life Event Center, 3975 Wedgewood Lane, The Villages, FL 32162.
