Lynn H. Jones, 102, of Wildwood, FL, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2018. Mrs. Jones was born September 13, 1915 in Adel, GA to Clayton D. and Josephine (Booth) Harris.
She was the class Valedictorian when she graduated from Williston High School. Lynn moved here from Bronson around 1940 and operated a child care business in her home for many years. She was a member of the Wildwood United Methodist Church and NARVE.
Survivors include her children, Pat Rabb of Keystone Heights; Kay Williamson of Wildwood, Diana Lancaster (Morris) of Gainesville, Sue Konantz (Ronnie) of Houston, TX and Lynette Carris (Jerry) of Alachua; 14 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren. Lynn was preceded in death by her husband, K.F. “Pete” Jones, son-in-laws, Mitch Rabb and Ronnie Williamson and a grandson, Tad Williamson.
Visitation will be from 4 – 6 p.m., Wednesday, January 31, 2018 in the Banks/Page-Theus Chapel. Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Thursday, February 1, 2018 in the Wildwood United Methodist Church with interment in Greenwood Cemetery, Wildwood.
