Second Mount Dora teenager dies as result of car crash in Orange County

A second Mount Dora teenager has died as the result of a single-vehicle accident Thursday afternoon in Orange County.

Fourteen-year-old Gabriel Hoover had been critically injured in the accident. He has since passed away at Orlando Regional Medical Center.

Seth Hoover, 16, had been pronounced dead days earlier at at Florida Hospital in Apopka.

Both had been passengers in a 2014 Ford four-door driven by 19-year-old Amen Allah of Apopka that had been eastbound on Ponkan Road when he lost control and the vehicle left the roadway, according to an accident report from the Florida Highway Patrol. He suffered minor injuries.

Two additional passengers from Apopka were also injured.
