A Village of Pine Hills man was arrested in a pickup parked near the Shamrock Lounge in Leesburg.

Turner Russell McLain, 50, who lives on Becerril Court, was spotted in the vehicle late Friday night, according to an arrest report from the Leesburg Police Department.

McLain, who is the head baseball coach at Leesburg High School, was found to have a sunglasses case in his lap. He quickly tried to conceal it in the center console.

“It’s not mine. I took it from a player,” McLain said, identifying himself as the high school baseball coach.

A glass pipe used for smoking methamphetamine was found in the case.

Methamphetamine and marijuana were also found in the vehicle.

McLain was taken into custody and booked at the Lake County Jail. He was released after posting $5,000 bond.
