Rolf Bartenwerfer

Rolf Bartenwerfer, 83, of The Villages, Florida, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at his home.

Rolf had lived in The Villages since 2013, moving here from The Woodlands, Texas.

He was intelligent, extremely empathetic, had a love for learning, golf and model sailboats. He was born in Germany, emigrated to Canada, graduated as an Engineer from the University of Toronto and worked as a Sales Engineer for many years. He is preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Elizabeth and his brother, Uve Bartenwerfer.

He is survived by his companion, Sandra McCarty; sons, David Bartenwerfer(Kate), Dale Bartenwerfer and two grandsons, Michael and Jackson Bartenwerfer.
The family will hold a private celebration of Rolf’s life.
