An Ocala woman was arrested Thursday after consuming alcohol in violation of her bond conditions.

Emily Allard, 38, had been drinking when she was arrested March 14 in a dispute over a rifle.

She was free on bond this week when she returned to the scene of the original altercation at SW 140th Avenue in Ocala. She had been ordered to stay away.

Allard, who works in the horse industry, was spotted Thursday night in the area of the barn. In addition to appearing as though she had been drinking, she was found to be in possession of marijuana.

As she was being taken into custody by Marion County sheriff’s deputies, she threw herself to the ground in an attempt to resist arrest. She complained of chest pains and was transported to Munroe Regional Medical Center.

In the waiting room, she became “very combative,” according to the arrest report. She had to be restrained in a stretcher.

She was later booked at the Marion County Jail.
