The popular Petrina’s iSparkle Got Talent Show 2 is coming to Eisenhower Recreation Center.
The event, which will feature more than 30 local entertainers, will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday, May 20. Performers at the event will pay tribute to this year’s $2,000 scholarship recipient, Emily Padgett of Colorado Springs, Colo. Padgett’s aunts, Susan Padgett and Donna DeSimone, own a home in The Villages.
During the show, a short video submitted by Padgett that demonstrates how she lives iSparkle in her daily life will be shown. Those attributes include: Inclusion, Support, Protect, Act, Respect, Kindness, Lift Spirits, and Encourage. Padgett also has the chance to increase her scholarship by $500 if she supplies another video application in a year’s time to show that she is continuing down the path of the values of iSparkle.
Seats are still available for the event that’s designed to raise awareness of the scholarship and increase funds for next year. Those entertainers helping in the cause this year include: Petrina, Janet Maloney, Zam/Mark Traynor, Doug Byers, Vinnie, Jan Myers, Mike DeWees, Hometown Cloggers, Cindy Cooper, Audrie Nevin, Bob Vipraio, Billie Thatcher, Brenda Jacobsen (ukulele group), Tina DeWees, Juanita Doyle, Clown Alley #179 (Pattie Hattie, Felina, Scrappy, Peechie), Donna J., The Lady in Black, Marti Doris, Armando Campo/Angela Ferrigno, Melanie Lodge and Jane Machol.
