Police responded to the hotel Friday night after receiving reports of a woman yelling from a balcony that she needed help and was being held against her will.

When officers arrived, they found a 25-year-old female who had been severely beaten and sustained head trauma, a police report states, adding that she was treated by EMS and taken to a local hospital.

With the assistance of hotel staff, officers were able to identify and apprehend five suspects – two males and three females. The suspects knew the victim and she was able to positively identify each of them in a photo lineup, the report says.

McDougal-Stegall and Gonzalez each are being held at the Marion County Jail on $10,000 bond, while Beebe is being held on $5,000 bond.

Police said the attack was not random and the investigation is ongoing.
