Christopher Allen Beauchemin

A Villages of Parkwood woman’s son has landed back behind bars following an arrest after an attack on his mother earlier this month.

Christopher Allen Beauchemin, 47, was being held this week without bond at the Lake County Jail on a probation violation.

He had been arrested June 6, after his mother summoned law enforcement to her home in the Villages of Parkwood. In desperation, she used her medical alert device to call for help after Beauchemin allegedly grabbed her by the hair and began shaking her head. He was booked at the Sumter County Detention Center and released the following day after posting $3,000 bond. Upon release, he apparently took up residence in Room 314 at the Comfort Suites on Avenida Central in The Villages.

The Connecticut native was arrested again Monday and booked at the Lake County Jail on a probation violation.

He had been placed on probation June 5 in connection with a drunk driving conviction from earlier this year. In that case, Beauchemin was arrested after taking a child on a wild ride to school. He was placed on probation for one year, ordered to perform 50 hours of community service and ordered not to consume or possess alcohol.
