Week Eight saw Fross & Fross come out of their losing streak by beating first place Palm Ridge Dental 10-4.
The end of the day saw three teams tied with 5-3 records and three tied with 3-5 records. Fross & Fross was led by the two hits each from Bruce Harlan, John Kushner, Bill Nisbet, Cal Driskill, and Al Deibler. Palm Ridge Dental had three hits by Mike Jeffries and a pair by Jim Morton and manager, Ken Scanlon.
Gators Brownwood beat Synergy 19-4.
Gators got four hits from Charlie Clare, Jim Rogers, and Bud Sheerin. Adding three hits were Chuck Bowman and Peter Rose. Pat Perkins had a pair of walks
and a pair of hits. Synergy Wealth got a pair of hits from Bob Kelly and Jim White and Gary DePalma drove in two runs with a single and a sacrifice fly.
IHOP wins over Team Koller 12-8.
IHOP scored four runs in each of the first two innings after giving up five runs in the bottom of the first. IHOP had four hits from Don Brozick and Rick Fredieu and three each by Manny Sanchez and Rick Duemler. Team Koller got a pair of hits from Bill Sass, Rocky Spottswood,David Oatley, Ron Crane, and sub, Ed Krisha.
