Students will be heading back to class this week at The Villages Charter School.
The first day of school will be Thursday, Aug. 9. It will be preceded by new family orientation set for 5:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 6 at The Villages Charter Middle School and an all-school orientation on Tuesday, Aug. 7.
The first day of school at other area schools, including Wildwood, Fruitland Park and The Villages Elementary at Lady Lake, is set for Aug. 13.
