To the Editor:
This Nov. 6, we will once again shape our government for the next two years. If you cast your ballot as an informed voter, I’d like you to examine the past performance and future agenda of each party.
To date, Republicans have dedicated full time energy on our economy; resulting in historic unemployment in every category, record breaking stock market performance, tax cuts, job growth and a powerful GDP performance.
The Republican President has stood up to Syrian threats with force, confronted the North Korean nuclear threat head on (before it is unstoppable), motivated NATO members to pay their fair share on defense, cancelled the forced/one sided nuclear deal with Iran and re-instituted severe sanctions, increased our military budget/effectiveness and appointed a Supreme Court judge to interpret the law, not make laws.
The Republican agenda is to secure our border with a wall, replace lottery and chain migration with a merit based immigration system for the benefit of the country, constantly working on bring back companies to the U.S. in a “Made in America” program, creating fair trade deals with all nations, investing in our fractured infrastructure and developing an affordable/practical healthcare system.
If you like these actions and future plans, you should vote for Republicans.
Now let’s look on the Democrat side. Other than opposing everything listed above, what have they instituted, contributed to or initiated in the past 19 months? Nothing. And what is their agenda? No one knows. Is it open borders? Is it “give” citizen rights to illegal aliens? Is it to allow anyone to enter who wants “a better life?”
Should we continue to allow nations to take advantage of us in trade deals? Should we just allow Iran and North Korea to build a full arsenal of nuclear weapons and accept their status as a nuclear power? What is their position on any important issue? We don’t know. But if you’re OK with this approach, by all means, vote Democrat.
