Tuesday proved to be special day for Villager Larry Bernson.
That’s because the Village of Lake Deaton resident scored his first hole-in-one while playing at the Mangrove Executive Course. Bernson accomplished the feat on the second hold using a 7 iron while hitting from the gold tee. He was playing with wife Patty and friends Richard and Kerri Baier, who quickly joined in on the celebration.
Bernson has only been golfing for four years. He took up the game when he and his wife moved to Florida’s Friendliest Hometown.
