Multiple units from Fruitland Park’s police and fire departments responded to a crash Monday at the intersection of County Road 468 and Myrtle Lake Avenue.
Two vehicles were involved the crash, which left one victim temporarily trapped before being freed by firefighters from Engine 56. That victim, whose name wasn’t available, was transported to Leesburg Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
The two Fruitland Park agencies also worked another two-car crash Monday at the intersection of U.S. Hwy 27/441 and County Road 25A. One patient was transported to Leesburg Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
