
James Thomas Davidson, age 91, of Oxford, Florida, passed away on September 5, 2018. James was born April 20, 1927 to James Aloysius and Margaret (Carlow) Davidson in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
James married Dolores T. Dzierzynski on May 15, 1953. They were married for 55 years. Dolores preceded him in death on June 30, 2008.
James was a lifetime, faithful member of the Catholic Church. As a young man, he served as an Altar Boy at his parish in Philadelphia. Soon after he got married, he moved to Bethlehem, PA where he lived for over 50 years. He belonged to the Knights of Columbus and served as an usher at his parish. James was a baseball coach for many years and then served as the president of the Northwest Little League of the Lehigh Valley.
James proudly served his country during WWII in the U.S. Navy. After the navy, he worked in various managerial and sales positions in the insurance industry.
Survivors include his children, son Brian and Linda Davidson of Lower Macungie Township, PA, son Mark Davidson of Satellite Beach, FL, daughter Colleen and Stuart Willner of The Villages, FL, daughter Michele ”Shelly” Luknicki of Salisbury Township, PA, daughter Justine “Tina” Davidson of Spokane, WA; brother John and Sue Davidson of Dana Point, CA, sister Jore Germeroth of Mission Viejo, CA; nine grandchildren, Justin and Jordan Bebee, Roman Luknicki, Trevor and Andrew Davidson, Kyle, Lance, Anika and Kyra Willner (deceased).
A mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at Notre Dame of Bethlehem Catholic Church. Viewing from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. prior to the mass in the Narthex of the Church. Burial will follow at Holy Saviour Cemetery in Bethlehem, PA.
