Villages hospital’s board of directors, higher management are incompetent

To the Editor:

I read the experience Don Hess had The Villages Regional Hospital. This is not a rare event.
I have heard many cases just like Don’s. It is not the staff that is the problem. It is the incompetence of the board of directors of the hospital and the higher management.
You would think, with all the influence the Developer has in this community, he or his staff would demand changes be made at this hospital.
One day, maybe, word might get out that although most of the medical providers are outstanding and The Villages is an ideal retirement community to live in, beware of one of the health care providers, mainly The Villages regional Hospital!
