The president of the Property Owners Association has been appointed to fill a vacancy on the Community Development District 4 Board of Supervisors.
The board on Friday voted to appoint Cliff Wiener to fill a seat vacated by the resignation of Jim Brockman, who is moving out of The Villages to be closer to family.
Wiener previously served for three and a half years on the Architectural Review Committee and has served on the Community Improvement Council.
He also served as treasurer for 10 years of the Ohio Buckeye Club.
