To the Editor:

It is true that the horror stories do outnumber the good ones at The Villages Regional Hospital and they are the tip of the iceberg.
They aren’t complaining about the food or the temperature of the room, but detailed failures in patient care.  I am surprised that Medicare hasn’t been called regarding some of these complaints.  If you can’t be a full service hospital and provide the care that comes with it, then why are you here?
Yes, it’s beautiful, but we deserve more than that. We shouldn’t be afraid to go there. These complaints aren’t “pool talk.” They are real.
