A woman’s Buick was scratched by a shopping cart while parked at Sam’s Club in Lady Lake.
The 55-year-old Wildwood woman emerged from the store on the afternoon of Sept. 14 and discovered the scratches on the driver’s side of her maroon 2015 Buick Enclave. She presumed the scratches had been caused by another vehicle, and contacted the Lady Lake Police Department.
When an officer arrived, he pulled a shopping cart next to the vehicle and showed the woman that all the contact points matched the height of the shopping cart.
