Mary “Ophelia” Lee, 87, of Oxford, FL, passed away Sunday, September 23. 2018. Ms. Lee was born May 10, 1931 in Oxford to William Richard and Julia (Tillman) Lee.
She has lived here all her life and raised cattle on the family farm. Ophelia passed away on the same property she was born on. She was a very active member of the Oxford United Methodist Church. Ophelia was always a caregiver, assisting with the care of her family as they aged and passed on.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews including one that she raised as her daughter, Brenda Grasso (Ken); sister-in-law, Betty Lee; 3 grandchildren, Caine, Shiane, Dustin and a great-grandson, Liam.
Ophelia’s family will celebrate her life at 2 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 30, 2018 in the Oxford United Methodist Church. Interment will be private in Pine Level Cemetery, Oxford.
