William T. (Bill) Connolly, went to be with the Lord, his friends and family. Bill passed on October 16, 2018 from a long illness. Bill was born in Cleveland, OH on September 3, 1944 to William J. & Mary Connolly.
Bill went to Collinwood High School and on to drafting School. Bill worked at Pick n Pay while in High School and then worked at East Ohio Gas Co. and retired from J. McGrath, Inc. as a supervisor.
Bill loved hunting, fishing and gardening. Bill loved the Elks Lodge and the people there. He was always involved with the kids Christmas party and playing Santa Claus.
He leaves behind his wife, Patricia “Patty”; his two favorite cats, Pretty Boy and Savannah; his sister-in-law, Beverly Shepherd of West Farmington, OH; two nieces, Gail Shepherd of NC and Millie Ann Shepherd of TX; and friends and cousins.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 23 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the chapel of Beyers Funeral Home, Leesburg. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 24 at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Beyers Funeral Home, Leesburg. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Leesburg. Following the graveside service, a reception will be held at the Eustis Elks Lodge #1578, 2540 Dora Ave., Tavares, FL 32778.
