A man was arrested on a felony charge of domestic battery in an alleged attack on a woman in the Village of Country Club Hills.
Andrew T. Brown, 31, was angry after he was told “to leave an establishment” and returned in the early morning hours Saturday to his home at 1614 Myrtle Beach Drive, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department. He began breaking items in the residence.
Brown then struck a woman with an open hand on both sides of her face, the report said. He grabbed her legs and pulled her from a bed. She was limping when police arrived, the report noted.
Brown was convicted of a charge of battery in 2015 in Putnam County. He was booked on $5,000 bond at the Lake County Jail.
