There’s good news for book lovers and holiday shoppers – the Writers League of The Villages will be holding its second-of-the-year Central Florida Book and Author Expo on Saturday, Dec. 8.
The Expo will be held at the Eisenhower Recreation Center from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. It will be the largest Expo so far, with more than 90 authors participating. And in addition to autographing their books, many authors will offer Expo-only specials and discounts.
The many authors from The Villages are being joined this year by writers from throughout Florida and several other states. In addition, three publishers also will be represented.
The Expo promises to offer a real diversity of writers, with more than 15 genres represented. So whether you are looking for mystery, history or romance, everyone attending should find something. And that includes books for kids, too, as many children’s authors are participating.
Food and drinks also will be available, as TooJay’s Gourmet Deli will set up in one of the recreation center’s rooms to sell sandwiches, sodas and other goodies.
This Expo is open to the public. For additional information, contact 2018 Expo Committee Chairman Jim Meyer at jacobsgrampy@masn.com.
