A Silver Springs woman called a Marion County sheriff’s deputy for help early Monday afternoon after claiming a thief took items from her purse.

A Silver Springs woman claims someone stole items from her purse on Monday while she was at the Summerfield ER, which is managed by Ocala Health.

The 28-year-old woman said she was a patient at the Summerfield ER, which is located at 14193 U.S. Hwy. 27/441 in Summerfield and managed by Ocala Health.

It wasn’t clear from the sheriff’s office report from the incident what was taken from her purse. The woman lives in the 1950 block of SE 176th Avenue in Silver Springs.
