TB Financial wins division championship

TB Financial played Hamel Builders in a double elimination game on Wednesday afternoon in what turned out to be the championship game due to the inclement weather on Thursday. The championship game was tied after four innings at 14 all. TB Financial Group scored five runs in the fifth inning while shutting down Hamel Builders and went on to score 10 runs in the open sixth inning to win the division championship 29-16.

Manager Dick Kanyan stated that it was essential to be the #1 seed in pool play and win the double elimination game on Wednesday because of the inclement weather that came in on Thursday.

TB Financial claimed the division championship.

“Our team’s offensive output was nothing less than spectacular, and our defense made a number of outstanding plays,” Kanyan said.
