Lady Lake man arrested after placing repeated calls to 911

Domonique Anthony Pinkard

A Lady Lake man was arrested after placing repeated calls to 911.

Lady Lake police responded to a total of 10 calls beginning Wednesday and continuing into early Thursday morning. Officers responded to 145 E. Lemon St. after the calls were placed by 26-year-old Domonique Anthony Pinkard, according to an arrest report. During each 911 call, Pinkard reported he had seen silhouettes of people in dark clothing running through his neighbors’ yards and onto his property.

Pinkard told police that each time law enforcement left, “they” would come out of the bushes and “laugh at him,” the report said. Pinkard’s father said there was no one outside or near the residence.

Police warned Pinkard not to call 911 and provided him with a non-emergency number. However, he continued the calls.

Pinkard was arrested on a charge of misuse of 911 and booked at the Lake County Jail on $1,000 bond.
