Man driving car with broken windshield found to be in possession of marijuana

A man driving a car with a broken windshield was found to be in possession of marijuana.

Stephen Louis Robertson, 47, of Weirsdale was driving the vehicle Feb. 1 on U.S. Hwy. 27/441 when the spider web cracks were noticed by a Lady Lake police officer. During a traffic stop, Robertson admitted to the officer that he did not have a valid driver’s license. Marijuana was discovered in the vehicle and Robertson admitted it belonged to him.

The officer confirmed that Robertson’s license had been suspended in November for failure to pay traffic fines. He was cited for driving while license suspended and issued a notice to appear in court on a charge of possession of marijuana.
