A Bison Valley man was arrested after paying an unwelcome visit to the home of a woman in the Villages of Parkwood.
Wildwood police were called late Saturday night to the woman’s home after she got into a physical altercation with 46-year-old Gregory Peter Carolan, with whom she shares children.
The woman told Carolan not to enter her home, but he went around to a back door and gained entry, according to an arrest report from the Wildwood Police Department. They began to wrestle and the fight moved to her front lawn. She scratched him on the neck and he “threw the victim down to the ground by her hair,” the report said.
Carolan was arrested on a charge of battery and booked at the Sumter County Detention Center. He was released after posting $500 bond.
