Lady Lake/Lake County has no representation on ARC after resignations

The Lady Lake/Lake County section of The Villages has no representation on the Architectural Review Committee after a pair of resignations.

Villager Judy Glasel, who had been serving as the ARC alternate, was elevated last month to the primary position following the resignation of ARC member Paul Hannan. Glasel resigned Monday from the ARC. The Amenity Authority Committee learned Wednesday of Glasel’s abrupt resignation. A reason for her resignation was not given.

The AAC recently spent in excess of $200 advertising in The Village Daily Sun in search of an alternate representative for the ARC. The advertising did not attract a qualified candidate.

The mission of the ARC “is to maintain the high quality and consistency of the aesthetics and design of the residences and home sites found throughout The Villages.”
