A Villager’s cat was put under home quarantine after biting her owner’s hand.
The 19-year-old cat named Frosty bit the woman on Feb. 27 at a home on Dustin Drive in the Village of Silver Lake, according to an incident report from Lady Lake Animal Control. The animal control officer visited the home on Monday to follow up on a bite report generated through the health department. The cat’s owner said she had been trying to collect a urine sample from Frosty when the cat “accidentally” bit her. The animal control officer verified that Frosty had been properly vaccinated.
The owner signed off on a home quarantine agreement.
