Fredric B. Ratner

Fredric B. Ratner, 87, The Villages, Florida, passed away on March 9, 2019 at his residence under the loving care of his wife Dory and staff of Hospice of Marion County. Fredric was born on March 27, 1931 in Washington, D.C. to his parents Joseph Henry Ratner and Pearl (Frankel) Ratner. Mr. Ratner was a retired Investment Advisor in the Financial Industry for over 47 years. He and his wife Dory moved to The Villages in 2003 from Rockville, MD and were members of Temple Shalom of Oxford, Florida. He was Veteran of the Korean War serving in the United States Army. He is survived by his loving wife: Dory Ratner of The Villages, FL; three daughters: Jessica Nadler of Falls Church, VA, Deborah Ratner of Port Washington, NY and Judith Pattik of Clarksville, MD; two sons: Gregg Bonda of Snoqualmie, WA and Brett Bonda of Richmond, VA; brother: Stanley Ratner of Rockville, MD; nine grandchildren and several loving nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at 3:00PM at Temple Shalom in Oxford, Florida. A Burial will follow the Service at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Leesburg, Florida. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to ARC of Marion County at 2800 S.E. Maricamp Rd. Ocala, FL 34471, Temple Shalom at 13563 C.R. 101 Oxford, FL 34484 or Hospice of Marion County at 3231 SW 34th Ave. Ocala, FL 34474 in his loving memory, Arrangements are entrusted to Page-Theus Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Leesburg.
