Stickers on mailboxes aren’t hurting anyone

To the Editor:

I work for USPS inside a mailroom much like this one. I personally don’t have a problem with the stickers at all and if it makes it easier to find their box, what is it hurting? We get plenty of people knocking on the doors trying to find a specific mailbox because sometimes the box number they’re given isn’t correct. Or maybe the snowbirds are gone long enough, they don’t remember exactly which box is their’s. Wouldn’t it be easier to just let them have the freedom to personalize it so they can find it? Just an opinion.
