A 72-year-old Del Webb Spruce Creek man called a Marion County sheriff’s deputy for help Thursday after discovering that his bicycle was missing.
The man told the deputy that his black Schwinn bike had been stolen from in front of his house, located in the 14200 block of SE 85th Ave., sometime between late Monday afternoon and Wednesday morning. The man said he had no idea who may have taken it, the report says.
The man also told the deputy that he didn’t have any serial numbers or any other descriptive information about the bike. The deputy gave him a case number and asked him to call the sheriff’s office if any more information about the missing bike became available.
