Production benefiting Villages Honor Flight brings glory days of radio back to life

“You Must Remember This” is a salute to the glory days of radio, from 1939-45. It will be held Saturday, March 30, at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. in Bacall Recreation Center.

All proceeds benefit Villages Honor Flight.

The cast of ‘You Must Remember This’ recreates the old days of radio. It will be presented March 30 at Bacall Recreation Center.

The show features the “Time of Our Lives” singers and dancers and is directed by Irene Pierce.

It is staged as a “live radio” show, with actual news broadcasts and music from the Big Band era of Glenn Miller and Artie Shaw.

The song list includes “The White Cliffs of Dover,” “Sentimental Journey,” “Embraceable You,” “I’ll Never Smile Again” and “Over the Rainbow.”
Performers include Diane Wright, Irene Pierce, Bobbi Marotta, John Kintz, Bill Osterhold, and acting as radio announcer, John Muller.
