An employee at a Spanish Springs restaurant discovered her vehicle’s tire had been slashed while she was at work.
The 31-year-old Fruitland Park woman at 10:30 a.m. Monday had parked her 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe in the parking lot behind McCall’s Tavern, according to an incident from the Lady Lake Police Department. When she left work at about 4:30 p.m., she discovered that her vehicle’s right rear tire had been slashed. A tow truck driver who responded to the scene “assured her that her tire had been intentionally slashed,” the report said.
The woman did not have any theories as to who may have vandalized her vehicle.
