Keri Renee Trevino

A woman was arrested after an early-morning crash damaged a power guy-wire, water line, fence and shrubs at RaceTrac in Lady Lake.

Keri Renee Trevino, 30, of Silver Springs, had been at the wheel of a vehicle at about 2 a.m. Saturday when the crash occurred, causing about $6,000 in damage, according to an arrest report from the Lady Lake Police Department.

“I noted that the defendant had a strong odor of alcohol, glassy, bloodshot eyes, and a slight slur when she talked,” the officer wrote in the arrest report.

She struggled through field sobriety exercises and when asked to perform the one-legged stand, she said, “Obviously, I cannot do that one.”

The driver of this vehicle was arrested after causing $6,000 in damage to a power guy-wire, water line, fence and shrubs.

Trevino provided breath samples that registered .181 and .186 blood alcohol content.

She was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence with property damage. She was booked at the Lake County Jail and released after posting $1,000 bond.
