Cornerstone Hospice has named a new executive director for the Lake and Sumter County region.
James Rogers, a certified hospice and palliative nurse, is now overseeing all operations, including patient care and family support, as well as outreach to medical providers and the community. Rogers, who also is a registered nurse, previously served as director of admissions for Cornerstone’s entire seven-county region.
Rogers was raised in Central Florida. He received his nursing degree from South Florida Community College and has been serving area hospice patients for more than 13 years.
