Sumter sheriff seeks help in nabbing Bushnell golf cart bandits

The Sumter County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in solving two crimes involving stolen golf carts.

The Sumter County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help in identifying the thieves who took these two golf carts in Bushnell recently.

The first one, a 2016 E-Z-GO cart valued at $8,100, was reported stolen on Feb. 16 from Paradise Oaks RV Resort in Bushnell. The victim said the black golf car has black-and-orange seats and a tan roof with tan-and-orange-striped pull-down sides.

A second cart, a 2017 Yamaha valued at $7,200, was reported stolen March 24 from Red Oaks RV Resort in Bushnell. The victim said that cart is red with chrome wheels with a black, white, and red fabric trim on the top portion.
