Motorcyclist trauma alerted from scene of crash in The Villages

A motorcyclist has been trauma alerted from the scene of a crash this afternoon in The Villages.

A motorcycle crashed Monday afternoon on County Road 466A at Colony Plaza.

The crash occurred at the intersection of County Road 466A and Sembler Way at Colony Plaza. Westbound traffic on County Road 466A has been detoured around the scene of the crash.

The crash has been turned over for investigation to the Florida Highway Patrol.

Emergency personnel were at the scene of the crash on County Road 466A at Colony Plaza.

The Sumter County Sheriff’s Office and The Village Public Safety Department also responded to the scene.
