It took 64 years to accomplish, but Villager Wayne Endries finally has fulfilled a dream – scoring his first hole-in-one.

Villager Wayne Endries was all smiles after scoring his first hole-in-one on the El Diablo Executive Golf Course. The 79-year-old started golfing when he was 15 and was thrilled to score his first hole-in-one after 64 years of trying to accomplish the special feat.

Endries, of the Village of Country Club Hills, accomplished the feat on the first hole at the El Diablo Executive Golf Course. He said he started golfing when he was 15 and has strived to score a hole-in-one ever since.

Now, Endries added, it feels great to be a member of the hole-in-one club.
