The Lady Lake Garden Club is celebrating National Garden Week with a display of beautiful plants at the Lady Lake Library.

Club member Debbie Wehnes organized and set up all of the displays, which will be in the library’s front lobby through Saturday, June 8. She was joined at the library by Sue Cangialosi, treasurer; Gerri Maiaroto, second vice president; Leslie DiCesare, first vice president; Claudette Frank, president; Barbara Peterson; Dot Robillard, secretary; and Barbie Kesten.

Members brought in plants from home to show off in the display. Flowers include tropical bromeliads, succulents, orchids, desert rose and many more.

The Lady Lake Garden Club has put a variety of plants on display at the Lady Lake Library in celebration of National Gardening Week, which runs through Saturday, June 8.

The Lady Lake Garden Club meets on the First Wednesday of each month from September through May. The club breaks during the summer months, June-August.

The club recently celebrated 65 years serving the community, with a goal of making it a more beautiful place to live. The club maintains a butterfly garden at Heritage Park in Lady Lake.
