Small plane crashes into wooded area at Leesburg International Airport

Leesburg Police officers scrambled to Leesburg International Airport on Friday morning after receiving a report of a plane crash.

The small aircraft was located in a wooded area on the property and crews from Leesburg Fire Rescue were working to rescue the two injured passengers. Neither appears to have life-threatening injuries, a police report says.
