A speeding driver landed behind bars after a traffic stop on Grays Airport Road near Griffin Avenue.
A Lake County sheriff’s deputy on the morning of June 28 caught on radar a vehicle traveling at 64 miles per hour in a 45 mph zone, according to an arrest report.
The driver was identified as 48-year-old John Migan, who lives on Eagles Nest Road in Fruitland Park. A check revealed Migan has been classified as a habitual offender and was driving on a revoked license.
He was taken into custody and booked at the Lake County Jail. He was released after posting $2,000 bond.
Migan had been arrested in 2016 after a golf cart “chop shop” was discovered at his home.
